    Promoted a community meeting at Gardiner Community Center. Publicized on reader boards on Hwy 101 and Diamond Point Road. Additional promotion on Facebook and Nextdoor.

  • Attended Clallam County Trail Advisory Committee Meeting

    We attended CCTAC meeting to speak publicly and ask about the process to begin working towards a trail along Diamond Point Road. County officials suggested that we determine community support and report back.

  • Call with Clallam County Transportation Department

    Called Clallam County Transportation Department to discuss possibility (and process!) for getting a non motorized trail along Diamond Point Road.

  • Utility Wire Burying?

    Noticed brush clearing for utility wires being buried along Diamond Point Road. Possible future trail route to get safely from the Diamond Point community out to the Olympic Discovery Trailhead at Hwy 101.

  • ULORA Logo Development

    “The board” met to review logo inspiration and ideas.

  • This is ULORA

    With the first annual meeting of the “board of directors,” we voted unanimously to move forward with our idea to launch a nonprofit. ULORA – upper left outdoor recreation alliance – encampassed what we wanted.

    The meeting took place at Seabrook on the Washington coast. It’s a beautiful part of the Olympic Peninsula and rained the entire time.
